DAY ONE
· The day will start with a breakfast/lunch stop at Cracker Barrel, Ft Myers. (OYO)
· We will then continue to The Edison & Ford Winter Estates for a guided tour of the homes and gardens. Enjoy more than 20 acres of historical buildings and gardens including the 1928 Edison Botanical Research Laboratory. Edison Ford Museum features 15,000 square feet of exhibits, thousands of artifacts, and a wealth of opportunities for visitors to learn about the innovative minds of two American icons!
· After checking into the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Ft Myers we will enjoy Dinner & Show at the Broadway Palms. Featuring “The Addams Family A New Musical” – America’s darkest family comes to life in this comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family and features an original story about love, family, honesty and growing up. Buffet Dinner prior to the performance – assorted hot entrees including a complete salad bar with specialty salads, rolls and butter. Assorted desserts include pies, cakes, ice cream sundaes and more. Sugar-free options are available. All meals include coffee, iced tea, and hot tea. DAY TWO
· After a hot breakfast buffet, enjoy a relaxing cruise on the calm waters of the Intracoastal Waterway. En route to the W.P. Franklin Locks that control the waters of Lake Okeechobee, pass through the historic Tice Railroad Bridge built in 1903. Observe the working of the locks as well as the banks of the Caloosahatchee River that flourish with tropical growth and beautiful homes. View wildlife, manatees, and eagles in the natural habitat from indoor, climate-controlled decks with large windows, or from our open third deck.
